A fault in the hydraulic control unit of the ABS system may cause an incorrect pressure reading. This could inadvertently activate the brake light, deactivate the ABS and ESP, and allow the vehicle to start and shift out of Park without the brake pedal being depressed, increasing the risk of unintended vehicle movement, accidents and injury.
The rear passenger window trim is not properly secured and may detach while the vehicle is moving and fall onto the road, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries.

The front main wiring harness may come into contact with a metal earthing stud because, following a design harmonisation change, PHEV/BEV vehicles were not fitted with the protective cap used on the MHEV version. Over time, vehicle vibrations could damage the harness insulation, allowing the wires to touch the earthing stud and cause a short circuit. This may lead to a loss of electrical functions and overheating of the wires, increasing the risk of a thermal incident or fire.
