Trois d'entre eux figurent désormais parmi les premiers mondiaux, et la Chine est présentée comme prenant l'avantage sur l'Europe dans l'automobile. En Europe, cette progression se heurte aux droits de douane de l'UE et à des alertes françaises sur les risques d'espionnage liés aux véhicules connectés, tandis que Seres, Li Auto et Xiaomi préparent ou renforcent leur offensive.
