New car registrations and vehicle recalls, as published by official bodies. Every figure is copied from its publication or computed from it (market shares, changes), never estimated or written by AI; a value that cannot be read or does not match the published totals is dropped. Each block names its source and month.

27 Oct 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03071/26

Mitsubishi Motors

Defective programming of the in-vehicle infotainment control system may cause the display to freeze, go black or malfunction. If this occurs during a backing event, the rear-view camera image may not be displayed, increasing the risk of a collision with a person or object behind the vehicle.

Official notice

21 Oct 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/02936/26 · also on RappelConso

Toyota · RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid

The electronic control unit of the motor generator of the plug-in-hybrid system may not correctly complete the motor initialization process, which can make the high-speed motor control mode unavailable. At higher speeds, this may cause the plug-in-hybrid system to enter fail-safe mode or shut down, resulting in a loss of motive power and increasing the risk of an accident.

Official notice

19 Mar 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/00846/26 · also on RappelConso

Toyota · PRIUS/PHEV

The sealing performance of the rear door opener switch can deteriorate over time and may allow water ingress under high-pressure splashes. This can cause a short circuit and unintended activation of the door release. If the door is unlocked, it may open unexpectedly while driving, increasing the risk of injury.

Official notice

03 Mar 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/00684/26 · also on RappelConso

Hyundai · i10 (AC3)

The impeller of the fuel pump may expand beyond specifications which can lead to low fuel pump pressure. In the event of fuel pump failure, the engine Malfunction Indication Light may illuminate on the dashboard. There is no warning before failure occurs, and as a result, there may be a risk of the engine not starting and/or loss of propulsion while driving. This increases the risk of accidents and injuries.

Official notice

27 Jan 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/00249/26 · also on RappelConso

Toyota · Proace and Proace City

Vehicles equipped with diesel engines may experience fuel leakage from the common rail due to an out of specification roundness on the common rail cone. This may lead to poor sealing with the high-pressure pipe nut. As a result, fuel may leak between the nut and the common rail cone, creating fuel vapour and fuel flow towards the hot exhaust system. This can result in an under-hood fire.

Official notice

08 Jan 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/00020/26 · also on RappelConso

Hyundai · IONIQ 6

The charging port door outer panel may not be securely attached. As a result, it could detach while the vehicle is being driven. If this occurs, the detached part could fall onto the road and create a hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of an accident.

Official notice

07 Jan 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/00017/26 · also on RappelConso

Hyundai · i30 (HD / FD)

The driver-side airbag inflator could rupture during deployment and not fully inflate. In addition, the release of high-pressured gas may propel pieces of the inflator and airbag module into the occupant compartment. This could increase the risk of injury.

Official notice

06 Jan 2026 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/00018/26 · also on RappelConso

Toyota · Proace, Proace Verso, Proace City, Proace City Verso (ICE and BEV)

A software issue may cause both the multimedia screen and the instrument cluster to turn completely black when the vehicle is started. When this occurs, the displays do not recover. As a result, the driver cannot see essential driving information such as vehicle speed, fuel level, or warning indicators. Driving without this information increases the risk of an accident.

Official notice

14 Nov 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/04074/25 · also on RappelConso

Toyota · Proace, Proace Verso

A software calibration error in the Engine Electronic Control Unit (ECU) causes incorrect IUPR (In-Use Performance Ratio) values, which may delay the malfunction indicator (MIL) warning. As a result, the vehicle could exceed emission limits before the driver is alerted.

Official notice

04 Nov 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03912/25

Toyota · Proace City

The indirect tyre pressure monitoring system (iTPMS) may fail to activate the low tyre pressure warning at the required minimum threshold due to incorrect calibration in the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) software. This can result in the warning light not illuminating, illuminating with a delay, or triggering a false warning. In the event of under-inflated tyres, this could increase the risk of an accident.

Official notice

04 Nov 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03911/25 · also on RappelConso

Lexus, Toyota · Land Cruiser, Mirai, Prius, RAV4, ES, LBX, UX, BZ4X +6

Due to a software issue, the Parking Assist control unit that works with the Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) to show the rearview camera image may briefly freeze when backing up if reverse gear is selected shortly after starting the vehicle. In addition, the rearview camera may not appear the next time the vehicle is started if the vehicle is turned on and off again within a short time window. This may increase the risk of a crash with a person or another vehicle during a backing event.

Official notice

14 Oct 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03572/25

Volvo Cars · EX90

The tailgate lifting arms may separate when opening or closing the tailgate. The spring inside the arms can rapidly release from the mechanism and the tailgate could fall freely, which can lead to injury.

Official notice

02 Oct 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03401/25 · also on RappelConso

Hyundai · i20, i20N, BAYON

The impeller that vacuums the fuel and sends it to the engine comes into contact with the outer walls of the fuel pump due to the swelling/expansion caused by operating at high temperatures and by the fuel, which can cause the engine to lose power and the vehicle to stop, increasing the risk of injuries.

Official notice

24 Sep 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03370/25

Volvo Cars

The torsion bar within the seatbelt system is defective. This could affect the seatbelt’s restraining performance and not provide adequate support in the event of an accident.

Official notice

18 Sep 2025 · Safety Gate · PT · SR/03307/25

Lexus · UX300e

The electrical compressor may fail, causing the HVAC system to enter a failsafe mode that suspends the heater operation of the system and affects defroster function. If the vehicle is operated in low-temperatures, the defrosting performance reduces and may not remove frost, ice and/or fog from the windshield glass. This can reduce driver visibility and increase the risk of injuries.

Official notice

The hood wing may have been incorrectly attached to the front bumper during manufacturing. In such cases, the hood wing could come loose and detach while driving, which can lead to injuries.
