France: 9 million thermal and hybrid cars still in circulation in 2050

According to calculations by the SDES, France will still have around 9 million thermal and hybrid cars in 2050, with rising new vehicle prices extending vehicle lifespans beyond 20 years. This projection puts into perspective the pace of the shift towards electric vehicles targeted for 2035.
